With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Guay (Mooers, New York), born in Mooers Forks, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on December 15, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph LaValley and Elizabeth LaValley (Barcomb); her siblings, Flo Lamberton, Joanne LaValley, Oliver and Gerald LaValley; her nephews, Barry and Terry Lamberton; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry and Howard.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Menard (Dale), Randy Guay (Danielle) and Lance Guay; and her sister Genevieve Ducharme. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In honor of her caring spirit, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
