He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman L. Monette, Sr. and Bernadette Monette (Corbiere); his sisters, Jean Gagne and Harriet; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Roth and Leslie "Skippy" Dragoon, Jr..

He is survived by : his daughter Monique Monette; his son-in-law Brian Ford; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Jolene Monette; his grandchildren, Ashley Monette, Morgan Monette and Lovisa Ford; his brother Norman; his sister-in-law Gladys Monette; his sister Beatrice Dragoon; and his brother-in-law Gilles Gagne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
