It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard E. Swinton (Mooers, New York), born in Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Swinton and Frances Swinton (Huestis); his wife Ada Porter; and his grandson-in-law Victor Wells. He is survived by : his sons, Lawrence (Christine Swinton) and Lance (Terri Swinton); his grandchildren, Kimberly Wells, Heather (Trey Burns), Rebecca (Matthew Fredette), Kayla Armstrong and Savanah (Cale Frennier); his great grandchildren, Emma, Benjamin, Carter, Madelyn Fredette, Gaven Alford, Owhan Swinton and Keelan Frennier; and his sister Velma Rice (Joseph).

Donations in his memory may be made to the Mooers United Methodist Church.
