We announce the death of Catherine L. Chadwick of Moravia, New York, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Catherine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Catherine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Koch and Amelia Koch (Kratzki); her husband Joseph T. Chadwick; and her daughter Catherine Fenton. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Chadwick (Betty) of Genoa, Elizabeth Elser (Doug) of King Ferry, Jean Blair (Stevie), Jane Mills (Robert) of Plattsburg, Edward Chadwick (Mel), Mary Chadwick (Frank) of King Ferry and Florence Banner (Mike) of Horseheads. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and step-grandchildren.
