With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Tilbe (Morris, New York), born in Bridgewater, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Tilbe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Tilbe (Foley); and his siblings, Leon Jr., Robert, David Tilbe and Laverne Simmons.
He is survived by: his father Leon Tilbe; his significant other Diane Cook of Bernard's Roman Catholic Church; his grandchildren, Gabriella Weirman (Brandon), Tatiana, Darren Nowakowski, McKenzi Beach (Andrew) and Jamie Tilbe (Andrew Hansen); his great grandchildren, Blayke Renee and Harper Kate Beach; his stepgranddaughters, Ashley and Breanna Hurlbut; his brother Charles Tilbe; and his brother-in-law Howard Cook. He is also survived by four step great-grandchildren, and one step great-great-granddaughter.
