It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys C. Daust of Morrisonville, New York, who passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gladys had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Gladys may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Eldred and Ethel Eldred (Elliot); her husband Robert Daust; and her sons, Robert Daust Jr. and Floyd Eldred.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candy Collins and Kathy Reyell (Fred); her sister Mytle Jabaut; and her pet Snoopy. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Alexander's Church (1 Church St, Morrisonville, NY 12962).
