He is survived by: his siblings, Richard, Eugene Garrant and Jan Avallon; his wife Sandra Garrant; his son Joseph Garrant (Jana); his stepson Gregory Yeagar; and his grandchildren, Jessica Garrant (Andrea Lontine) and Jacob Garrant. He is also survived by 4 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
