We announce the death of Kathleen Cecchetelli (Mount Kisco, New York), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 95. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kathleen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Kathleen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Kathleen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Gavigan and Mary Gavigan; and her husband John Cecchetelli. She is survived by: her children, John (Mindy), Jerry (Sue), Kathy (Peter) and Mary Beth; and her siblings, Patricia, Barbara and Thomas. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, her six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Directors (288 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (117 Valley Rd, Katonah, NY 10536). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
