Lucy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lucy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lucy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francesco Governali and Liboria Governali; and her husband Rocco DiMatteo. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Ida DiMatteo (late Angelo) and Rosa Fiore (Joseph); and her nieces and nephews, Dana Castellano, Marie Silviotti (Louis), Angela DiMatteo, Aly Fiore, Justin Fiore (Lisa) and Joseph Castellano Jr.. She is also survived by great-grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Directors (288 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (2 Green St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
