Nina M. LaGeorge Obituary
We announce the death of Nina M. LaGeorge of Mount Morris, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 94. Nina will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustine Cichelli and Giovanna "Jennie" Cichelli (Catarra); her husband Joseph LaGeorge Jr.; her daughter Janet; her daughter-in-law Tamy; and her siblings, Rita Valente, Nellie Panozzo, Dolly Alessi, Lucy LoVerde, John, Leo, Louis and Alex Cichelli.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph LaGeorge of Mt. Morris, Julie Ammermuller (Mark) of New Jersey and Jean Murray (Michael) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Tracy Provino, Ravea LaGeorge, Lyndsey Beaudette (Jeff), Nicole Fennell (Cameron), Joseph LaGeorge (Krystal), Gina Hendrickson (Billy), Melissa Lanza (Matt) and Michael Murray (Zia); and her great grandchildren, Kayd, Julian, Allison, William, Jacob, Matthew, Kathryn, Gabriella, Brooke and Emerson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John W. Martin Funeral Home (37 Chapel St, Mt Morris, NY 14510). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (46 Stanley St, Mt Morris, NY 14510).
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd, Suite 110, Rochester, New York 14618.
