She was predeceased by: her parent Margaret Wynn. She is survived by: her daughter Naima Renee Abdus-Salaam; her son-in-law Sharif Abdus-Salaam; her granddaughters, Nicole Watson and Zakiyyah Abdus-Salaam; her great grandchild Kiara; Richard Begy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home (584 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706).
