George Levasseur Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2018, at the age of 102, George Levasseur (Nanuet, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Levasseur (Wethly). He is survived by: his parents, George V. Levasseur and Jeanne Levasseur; his sisters, Jeanne and Henriette; his sons, Lance and Steven (Giles); his daughter-in-law Jeanette Levasseur (Downey); his granddaughters, Jennifer Griffith and Yvette Levasseur; and his nieces and nephews, Phillip, Kevin, Michael Ryan, Cathy Ryan-Flavin and Christine Mahr (Ryan).

Because of the wonderful care he received in his final days, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of George Levasseur to, New York State Veteran's Home at Montrose, 2090 Albany Post Rd., Montrose, NY 10548.
