He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Bernhardt; and his parents, Harold James and Dorothy Ann Bernhardt (Gorman). He is survived by: his siblings, Bob Bernhardt (Carol), Dorothy Ann Lamartina, Linda Colandrea (Ron), David Bernhardt and June Langella (Jimmy); his wife Patricia Ann; his children, Christopher, Michael (Nora) and Paula (Vlad); and his grandchildren, Ian Healy (Laura), Sarai Misic and Angelina Bernhardt-Meli. He is also survived by his brothers and sons.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Michael J Higgins Funeral Home (321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Anthony's Church (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954).
