Lissy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She is survived by: her children, Sony and Soby John; the father of her children John George (Moncy); her mother Ponnamma Thankachan; her brother Roy Mathew Thankachan; her sister-in-law Rincy Roy; and her nieces and nephews, Reshma and Roshan Roy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. George Syrian Orthodox Church (36 1st St, Nanuet, NY 10954). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Brick Church Cemetery (221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977).
