She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barry and Beatrice Lee Barry. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Diana; her nephew Anthony Barry; her sister-in-law Anne Barry; her nephew Andre Barry; her niece Monique Barry; and her friend Theresa Florentino.
In Rita's memory, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Rockland, whose nourishing meals and daily wellness checks helped make it possible for Rita to remain in the home she loved for so many years, or to Joseph Raso Hospice Residence in appreciation of the exceptional care they provided at the end of her life.
