He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Vann (Maruch); his parents, Hazel Norma Carr DeGroat of Dublin, GA and Earl Thomas Vann; and his siblings, Linda Kay Lawrie of Dublin, GA and Edward Thomas Vann.
He is survived by: his son Robert (Kimberly) of Nanuet, NY.; and his brother David Vann (late Avis). He is also survived by his step-sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
