He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Coombs and Elsie A. Coombs (DeWitt); his wife Donna Coombs; his son Scott A. Coombs; his brothers-in-law, Jackie, Billy Sheley and William Mitchell; and his pet Benji.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Horwath (Steven) of Florida, Cindy Garcia (Gary) of Minnesota and Jackie Mitchell (William) of California.
