She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Sherman and Mary Sherman (Bloomer). She is survived by: her friend Andy Wilder; her close friend Sherry Morey; her husband Gilbert L. Black; her sister Joy Richmond; her sons, Wayne Dedrick, Christopher Dedrick and Lawrence Black; her grandchildren, Alec Forezzi, Hope Dedrick-Shears, Eliana Dedrick and Seth Black; and her brothers, Will Sherman and Ken Sherman.
