She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Clewell and Marion Clewell (Gee) of Nassau, NY.; her partner Karen Voytila; and her siblings, Arnold Clewell, Jr., Joan Clewell (Munson), Barbara Maeo (Clewell) and Nancy Bray (Clewell).
She is survived by: her siblings' children, Michele (Munson) and Michael Peart of Rensselaer, NY.; her siblings, Beatrice Mangine (Clewell) and Paul Clewell (Arlene); and her caregivers, Cara Brie-Harrington, Tanisha Singleton and Terry McCalvin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janice's memory to Samaritan Hospital, The Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, or Community Hospice.
