He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph P. Sr. Miaski and Dorothy Miaski (Houser). He is survived by : his wife Barbara A. Miaski (Vincent); his children, Joe Miaski (Bonnie), Dave Miaski (Mary) and Lori Freemantle (Tim); his grandsons, Tim Freemantle (Bailey), William Miaski, Tom Freemantle, Dylan Miaski, Andrew Miaski and Austin Miaski; his great grandchild Freyja Miaski; and his siblings, Dorothy Van Nederynen, Michael Miaski and Janet Statile.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home (11 Elm St, Nassau, NY 12123).
