He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jr. Simmons and Lolita Simmons; and his sister Lisa Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Gail Simmons (Flemings); his daughter Maggie Simmons; and his brother Tony Simmons (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
