Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adger Ganson and Dorothy Ganson (Hotaling); her husband Morton J. Schips; and her siblings, Gladys Webster and Buddy Ganson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Burke of Troy, Robert Manchuck of Valatie, Cindy Boor of Kinderhook, Paula Trout, Marty Manchuck of Stuyvesant and Mary Hetzer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
