He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Berlin and Jeanne Berlin (Chetney); and his sister Liza Berlin. He is survived by: his wife Shari Gerber; his children, Allison Kendall (Louis) of Adams, Marisa Yates (Adam) of Adams and Elaina Berlin (Ryan Gelnett); his stepchildren, Jade Intorcia (Travis) of Natural Bridge and Jordan Morgan (Desiree) of Natural Bridge; his grandchildren, Owen, Francine, Charlotte, Briggs, Lenora, Abigail, Camille, Peyton, Adelyn, Grayson, Knox, Taylor and Damon; his siblings-in-law, Cassandra Childers (William) of Natural Bridge, Becky Beeks (Allen) of The Dalles, Oregon and Larry Gerber (Sheila) of Mt. Pleasant; his brother Paul Berlin (Teresa) of Oswego; and his close friend John Rizzo.
