She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Thayer and Stella Thayer; her husband John Carpenter; her brother Joe; and her brother-in-law Jerry Hahn.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Carpenter (Cindy) of Georgia, Gary Carpenter (Francesca Emmi) and Jeanne Clarke; her sister Virginia; and her brother-in-law Gary Grome.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home (4504 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
