It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert H. Burkhart of Nelliston, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his family Bob; his wife Gail C. Casler; his children, William Burkhart, Paul Burkhart (Michele), Colleen Hurteau (Russell), Kenneth Burkhart (Denice Harris) and Brian Burkhart; his cousin Clara Cappallo; his siblings-in-law, Varnum Casler, Yvonne Nestle and Earlene Casler; his grandchildren, Dr Allyson DeNora (Max), LT Zachary Burkhart (Carrie), Joshua Introne (Heather), Alyssa Meher (Jeremy), Amanda Hurteau (Carl), Joseph Burkhart, Cody Burkhart (Alisha), Keith Burkhart (Amy), Abigail "Abby" Hillock (Kai) and Danika Battisti; his great grandchildren, Jayce Burkhart, Zoey Burkhart, Jude Burkhart, Julian DeNora, Carl Reese III, Cassidee Reese, Dacianna Meher, Logan Introne, Audrey Burkhart, Gerald Burkhart, Adeline Burkhart, Ashton Burkhart and Heidi Burkhart; his granddaughter-in-law Ashley Dooley Burkhart; his close friends, Kevin Yost, Charlie Countryman, Thomas Parsons, Loren and Beth Fassett; Riley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
