He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Davis and Hazel Vandermark Davis; his former wife Edith Wahl Peters; his wife Anne McGuire; his siblings, Herman Davis Sr. and Jean Stephenson; and his stepson Patrick Gildersleeve.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Anne Davis Krum of Livingston Manor, NY, Carl Davis of Livingston Manor, NY and Robert Davis of Jeffersonville, NY; and his stepchildren, Howard, Michael, Olga and Carol Gildersleeve. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
