It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth O'Brien of New Berlin, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Kennedy and Anna Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband John O'Brien; her children, Amy O'Brien, Jenny O'Brien, Meggy Dibble (Brian) and Lorry O'Brien DuBois (Jackson); and her grandchildren, Casey Dibble and Molly Dibble.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home (60 S Broad St, Morris, NY 13808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (98 W Main St, Morris, NY 13808).
