She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Barrows and Clarence Barrows; her husband Francis Keith Barker; and her sister Roberta Makey. She is survived by: her siblings, George, Clarence, David, Kathy, Richard, Clifford and Patricia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Throughout her career, Virginia made significant contributions to her community as both a telephone operator and a child daycare operator.
