It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Pomerantz of New City, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel Pomerantz (Spellman) and David Pomerantz; and his brothers, Martin and Howard. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his children, Eric (Karen), Leah (Jan) and Jay (Karen); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenna), Lauren (Fred), Daniel, Rachel, Rebecca and David; his great grandchildren, Ari, Madelyn, Eli and Ramani; and his brother Aaron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Kopp Center (26 Minnewaska Trail, Kerhonkson, NY 12446). A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kerhonkson Synaogue Cemetery.
