She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Congelo and Mary Congelo (Salamone); her husband Anthony F. Gurdo Sr. of Bernard's Church; her sister Mary C.; her brother-in-law Martin Cleary; her sister Ann "Bunny" Congelo; her in-laws, Kathleen and Thomas Mullen; and her grandson Nicholas Heald.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Newell (Shane) of Chicopee, MA, Annette Gurdo of New Hartford, Anthony F. Gurdo, Jr. of Clinton, John Gurdo (Amy) of Fort Edward and Maria Broccoli (Steven) of New Hartford; her daughter-in-law Deborah Gurdo of Clinton; her grandchildren, Vincent Newell, Jonathan Newell (Kathryn), Nicole Marcus (Christopher), Kezia Lawler, Anthony Gurdo (Jessica), Stephen Gurdo, Courtney Heald, Steven Broccoli, Jr. (Kathleen Arcuri), Vincent Broccoli and Nicholas Broccoli; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Sabatino, Lydia, Ruby, Luke and Jack; and also Gregory Lawler of Blossvale. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service (35 College St, Clinton, NY 13323). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (13 Marvin St, Clinton, NY 13323).
