He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan E. Smith and Sally Arundel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol Williams; his daughter Karen Ingersoll (Jim); his grandson Nicholas Ingersoll; and his siblings, Peter Smith (Kathleen) and Sally Cohen (Eric).
