It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Bohn III of New Hartford, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Bohn and Evelyn Bohn (Gifune); and his sister-in-law Jean DesJardins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Butler; his children, Matthew Bohn (Kimberly) of Edgewater, Maryland and Bridget (Edward) of New Hartford; his grandchildren, Delanie and Garret Roberts; his brother Paul Bohn (Sheryl) of Clinton; his niece Amanda Libby (Jon); his nephews, Stephen DesJardins, Michael DesJardins and Kelley Obryan (Chris); his brother-in-law Mark DesJardins; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Russell DesJardins, Lily DesJardins, Brent DesJardins and Lagatha Obryan. He is also survived by several cousins and countless friends.
