She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Alger and Helen Alger (Flaherty); her sister Shirley Welch; and her brother-in-law Irving Welch. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Heather MacDonald Payne of Chadwicks, Jeffrey MacDonald (Jill) of New Hartford and James MacDonald of Utica; her grandchildren, Zachary Payne, Kimberly MacDonald, Matthew Specht and Ashley Chruscicki; her sisters, Betty DiNardo (Michael) of Utica and Mary Bord (Whitney) of Florida; her sister-in-law Germaine Alger of Florida; and her niece Michele.
