We announce the death of Philip D. Snyder of New Hartford, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Philip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip R. Snyder and Leona Mattison Snyder; his wives, Eudora "Doty" Snyder and Nancy L. Tallman; and his siblings, Ruth Mateo, Terry R. Snyder and William Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Blenis of Westmoreland and William Snyder (Lori) of New Hartford; his siblings, Brenda Sprouse, Virginia Davis, Larry Davis (Martha), Dick Davis (Pam) and Jeff Davis (Sue); his grandchildren, Keith Blenis (Korey), Peter Servello Jr. (Meghan), Adam Colvin, Daniel Snyder (Amanda), Kristen Landcastle (Rich) and Sean Blenis; his great grandchildren, Connor Blenis, Autumn Blenis, Wyatt Servello, Adasyn Colvin, Carter Colvin, Jaiden Bortle, Brielle Bortle, Harper Bortle, Preston Snyder, Snyder Reed Landcastle and Hudson Landcastle; his close friends, Don Lazzaro, Bob Gondek and Jim Solan; and his caregivers, Sedija Grosic and Jessica VanDreaser (Natalie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
