With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Robert Welchons of New Hartford, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Welchons and Harriet Welchons; his siblings, Jack and Virginia; his wife Dorsey; his daughter Susan; his daughter-in-law Kathie; and his grandsons, Stephen and Christopher.
He is survived by: his children, David Welchons (MaryEllen), Tim Welchons, Diane Mort (Phil), Nancy Conway (Robert), Steven Welchons and Peggy Lonczak (Gary). He is also survived by grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
