He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonio and Filomena; and his grandson Christopher. He is survived by : his wife Florence; his siblings, Benjaman (Benny), Vincent (Rose) and Marie Gizzie; his children, Anthony (Delores), Salvatore, Vincent (Roger) and Catherine (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Salvatore Jr., Anthony, Jessica, Liliana and Austin.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home (506 Lakeville Rd, New Hyde Park, NY 11040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Spirit R. C. Church (500 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park, NY 11040).
