Aura will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Aura by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Aura is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Aura’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Teofilo Alarcon and Hercilia Zuniga; her husband Enrique Villegas; her children, Maria Del Pilar (Carver), Luis Enrique Villegas and Bayardo Villegas; and her grandchildren, Miguel Villegas, Marcela Carver, Bayardo E. Villegas and Jonathan Villegas. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes - Floral Park (29 Atlantic Ave, Floral Park, NY 11001).
