“Dear Family of Halima We were devastated to learn of her passing . I had spoken with her during Covid & we reminisced about her days at the Carlton House which is where we first met. My mother in law , Louise Fishman, was renting there & Halima was always so kind to us all. She even babysat our twin sons. I remember how much she loved tennis. A lovely woman with such a calm presence. I am so sorry for this terrible loss & we will donate to animal rescue in her honor. Margaret”

“If this is the same Halima who lived in Fresh Meadows I have been trying to call her. Last we spoke in February she was fine. Our deepest condolences. There is no way to say this at this time but we live in the 3 story apartments and had left her the keys to our apartment as we have been away for 3 months working. If this is the same person could someone call me at 718-869-2142. My name is Cheryl . Again our sympathies as she was a lovely neighbor and my shopping partner.”
