He is survived by: his wife Mary "Mai" Walsh; his children, Cathy, James, Deirdre, Liam, Paul, Maureen, Neil and Claire; his grandchildren, Keiran, Ryan, Brenna, Elizabeth, Madeleine, Sinead, James, Gerard, Liam, Laura, Tara, Paul (PJ) and Shannon; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Mason, Rowan, Noah, Lucas, Vale, Fallon, Tucker, Brogan and Quinn; his siblings, Raymond and Anne "Cookie"; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy and Helen "Lilly".
