He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ted Kraat and Nell Kraat; his wife Susan Kraat (Brown); his daughters, Betsy Kraat (Jonathan Sadow) and Carolyn Cave (Matthew Cave); his grandchildren, Conan Kelley, Dennis Kelley, Oliver Cave and Solveig Cave; and his siblings, Edith Sherman (Jeff Sherman) and Peter Kraat. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Paltz Reformed Church (92 Huguenot St, New Paltz, NY 12561). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
