He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett and Virginia Colleen Ball Plantinga; and his former wife Slade Ingram Plantinga. He is survived by: his children, Kate Plantinga Mulzet (Joe) and Ben Plantinga; his former wife MaryJo Martin; his sister Prill Boyle (Michael); and his nephews, Gabriel Bach and Everett Boyle.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reformed Church of New Paltz (92 Huguenot St, New Paltz, NY 12561).
