He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Kimler and Ethel Lown; and his siblings, Patricia Stone, Francis Kimler and Ronald Kimler.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Kimler; his daughter Janelle Kimler of New Paltz; his grandson Cole Kimler; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Brady (Denise), William Brady (Kathy), Deanne Kimler and Robin Peterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
