He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Dawes); and his wife Tracy Ann Smith (Glancey). He is survived by: his children, Monique Joiner Papia of Safety Harbor, FL and Stephen M. Papia of Wellington, FL; and his brother Robert Smith of Plattekill. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
