He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilherme DeAbreu and Eufemia DeAbreu; and his siblings, Jose DeAbreu, Alzira Silva and Odete Nolletti.
He is survived by: his wife Fernanda; his children, Edgar Abreu Jr. (Beatriz) and Sandy Brancamp (Michael); his grandchildren, Nicholas Abreu, Joshua Brancamp, Mia Abreu and Justin Brancamp; and his sister-in-law Elisabette Tortorella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel (16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10801). A Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (15 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10805). An entombment was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1 High St, Rye Brook, NY 10573).
