With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Maher of New Rochelle, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher; and his parents, Elizabeth Maher (Gries) and John F. Maher. He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Maher, Andrew Maher (Susan), Catherine Smith (Edward) and Eileen Illuzzi (Vincent). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and eight grandnieces and nephews.
