She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Giraud and Beatrice Giraud; her husband Bernard Francis Blaney; her daughter Marie Chesnard McCollum; her granddaughter Jessica Blaney Childs; and her siblings, Ralph Giraud, Frank Giraud, Beatrice Wenk, Bernice Larkin, Edna Kurtz and Eugene Giraud.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Kennedy (Pat), Bernard Blaney (Tracy), Theresa Childs (William), Catherine Cuddihy (John) and Joseph Blaney (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Joseph Kennedy (Karlee), Kimberly Kennedy, Kathryn Krause (Nate), Ryan Blaney, Michael Blaney, Thomas Chesnard (Lauren), Madeline Turner (Clay), William Childs (Jodi), Bernard Childs (Emily), Timothy Childs (Laura), Claire Cuddihy, Jack Cuddihy, Joseph Blaney, John Blaney and Mary Blaney. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel (16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10801). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (83 Clove Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (5 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
