It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael A. Garafola of New Rochelle, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartolomeo Garafola and Rose Garafola; his sisters, Susan and Frances; and his son-in-law Anthony Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Garafola; his children, Janice Williams, Susan Tauro (Fred), Michael Garafola (Caroline) and Mark Garafola (Adina); and his grandchildren, Michelle (Kirk), Tara (Ray), Anthony (Kendyl), Freddy (Maria), Christina (Eric), Austin, Nicholas and David. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home (767 E Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck, NY 10543). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Family (83 Clove Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Beechwoods Cemetery (179 Beechwood Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10801).
