He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Murphy and Helen Murphy (Pfeiffer); his grandson Nico; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Annie Murphy (Raveschot); his children, Christopher Murphy (Stan), Elizabeth Meydenbauer (Mike), Matthew Murphy (Isa) and Katherine Biddle (Charlie); his grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Alex, Claire, Paul, James and Charlotte; and his brother Frank Murphy (Sue).
