The passing of Ronald Vitro of New Rochelle, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 6, 2025 at the age of 80. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edna; his children, Ronald (Kerri), Daniel (Theresa) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Matthew, Kyle, Noelle, Christian and Tyler; and his brother Robert.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home (584 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Jesus Church (70 Petersville Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801).

“I spoke with Ron on July 5, he was very excited to do the upcoming White Plains, NY show, Ron Vitro was my mentor in the Hobby, but most important he was my friend for over 40 years. He was like a father to me. You dont replace a Ron Vitro. Yes, he was that kind of a man. A man who could make you smile when you saw him or talked to him. My condolences to his wife Edna, his son's and the rest of his family. I will miss him terribly. But what memories we shared. RIP RON. Go Mets.”
