She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Ermolin and Marion Ermolin. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Certo; her daughters, Tina Cricchio (Frank), Michele McKnight (Danny), Janine Dolan Jenks (Doug) and Brenda Barnes (John); her grandchildren, Joe (Lenette), Nicole Cricchio, Amanda, Daniel McKnight, Ian, Emma Dolan, Doug, Val, Ryan Jenks, Alexandra, Samantha and Harry Barnes; and her great grandchild Arlo Joseph Cricchio. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara's name to The Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter.
